The People's Elephants talisman, who has lit up Aba since his arrival in 2019, signed a long term deal with the Blood and Gold.
But who could Enyimba replace their star player with? We have explored five potential wingers who could be the ones to fill Iwuala's boots.
5. Godwin Aguda - Rivers United
One name who has consistently been linked with a move is Aguda.
He continued to impress in the Nigerian top-flight this season - notching up nine goals.
Aguda is versatile too - he can play in each position across a front three or even as a deep-lying playmaker.
But it's his technical ability that will be the most attractive asset to Enyimba - he is superb from dead-ball situations and has the ability to find pockets of space to play in the forwards.
4. Steven Jude - Kwara United
Jude enjoyed a remarkable season for Kwara United and impressed.
He was in stunning form this season - propelling United with 13 goals.
Steven Jude can play on either flank or as a striker and his ability to find the net, coupled with his pace and directness, could prove to be just what Enyimba need to replace Iwuala.
3. Ibrahim Olawoyin - Rangers
Another option who could be an ideal replacement for Iwuala is Ibrahim Olawoyin.
The forward should be linked with a move away from Rangers. Playing for Enyimba could be a better option for the tricky winger.
Olawoyin is primarily plays off the left, where he starred under Salisu Yusuf this term.
2. Joseph Atule - Katsina United
Kalu rose to prominence with a string of fine performances for Katsina United in 2020/21 season.
He is a tricky customer for any full back to handle.
1. Ekene Awazie - FC Ifeanyi Ubah
Another player Enyimba chiefs could look to replace Iwuala with is FC Ifeanyi Ubah's Ekene Awazie.
There is no doubting he is a hugely talented player and his League experience may make him a viable option to explore.
Enyimba are very seriously considering a move for the playmaker as their prime replacement for Iwuala.
