The new signings have lived up to expectations safe for the record signing Kai Havertz. The German is currently out and training alone after he's tested positive for coronavirus few weeks back.
The arrival of New goalie, Edouard Mendy from Rennes for a reported fee of £22million have frozen the former number one choice, Kepa Arrizabalaga. Kepa arrived London in August of 2018 following the record signing of goalkeeper in history. The Spaniard joined the Blues' for a world record fee of £72 million, the record signing fee for a goalkeeper.
