Timo Werner displayed brilliantly last night against the relegation threatened Sheffield United who were determined to get a win against the Tuchel side. The German international provided an indisputable chance for Mason Mount to strike in the opener goal for the club yesterday. 

A game which was perceived a much difficult one for the Blues saw the former RB Leipzig forward creating two goalscoring chances for the London club on Sunday evening. He should have ended his current Premier League goal drought at the club but was denied through a slightly rough contact form Sheffield goalkeeper, Ramsdale. The foul later saw them being awarded a penalty which the club penalty taker, Jorginho made no mistake with by slotting it home. The match ended in a deserved 1-2 win for them. 

However, after the match, according to votes by generated by the club fans, Timo Werner was awarded for Man of the Match for the difference made by him in the match. There has been several reactions by the club fans on this with most hailing the former Bundesliga for his great contributions in their recent games.
