Tuchel Could Possibly Solve His Squad Selection Problem Against Manchester City With This Lineup

The blues will be expected to continue their impressive form in the Premier league as they will be Manchester city this weekend. This fixture will be expected to be an intriguing one for the blues as Manchester city will be expecting to secure their first win against Chelsea in their fourth meeting. Guardiola and Tuchel are yet to settle their differences after Tuchel beat him in the champions league final and also in the F.A Cup semi-finals.

According to recent reports, it seems as Tuchel's squad have been handed a major blow ahead of this fixture as the likes of Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic are still injured. Although Mason Mount's injury occurred during Chelsea's preparation for their game.

However, Tuchel recieved some good news as the likes of Eduard Mendy and N'golo Kante are now fully fit for that game and will be expected to return to the starting XI for that fixture. It is now expected that the impact of some of these players be witnessed. Thomas Tuchel will have to bring his A-game as he now has his full squad at his disposal.

Be it as it may, the return of Kante and Eduard Mendy and some other factors such as Timo Werner's latest lethal form will be expected to give him a selection headache. Timo Werner have tried so well to show that he is not willing to give off that first team shirt so well.

As usual, Tuchel will be making use of his tactical 3-4-2-1 formation in which Romelu Lukaku will be leading that attack while Kai Havertz and Timo Werner will be starting in that attacking midfield position. Timo Werner's ability to draw out opposing defenders will be a major problem for that Manchester city's defense.N'golo Kante's presence will be making things easy for Jorginho in that midfield. Tuchel will be making a difficult decision of keeping Mateo Kovacic on the bench.
