Opinion: Osimhen Reunites With Super Eagles Returnee, Awoniyi

The journey of life is indeed the journey of a thousand miles and it needs courage and perseverance to reach the dreamed position, coupled with a more disciplined approach to all your dealings in life. Beginning the journey to full professionalism from the cradle, Victor Osimhen who is no novice to the youth system of Nigerian professional football, started his dream career with Union Berling striker Taiwo Awoniyi, who was also into the system together with Victor Osimhen.

Back to the system where he started, Taiwo Awoniyi who was invited to replace injured Lorient striker Terem Moffi, in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Central African Republic, scheduled to take place on the 7th of October, 2021, will seize the opportunity to reunite with an old friend and teammate Victor Osimhen, who in the search of success went through the same struggle in the youth system of Nigerian professional football.

From the grassroots to the top, Osimhen will be happy to have his old teammate Taiwo Awoiny back to the team where they all started in the youth system and with the memory of what they have been through in the days of little beginnings, Osimhen'e reunion with Taiwo will be a flashback of what they have been together in search of glory and recognition.

Keeping up with the ambition of finishing what they started, what would do justice to the unflagging comradeship of Osimhen and Taiwo, who have been witnesses of their little bold steps to the top and clearly shown by pictures, they were once boys and now in their recent level, they are characterized as men, and this moment is when they can look back in unison to make jest of how they started in their journey to reach the peak of their career.
