4-2-3-1: United will knock Liverpool off their perch with this brilliant Lineup

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team selection for tomorrow's match against Liverpool will be heavily influenced by a few minor injuries that are being monitored. Marcus Rashford had a dead leg against Atalanta on Wednesday, which the manager confirmed. As such, he should be ready to play, though this isn't assured.

Fred was also forced to leave the match on Wednesday due to a thigh injury. Bruno Fernandes was the third player to suffer a knock.

Raphael Varane, who is still recovering from a groin injury, is definitely out. Both Anthony Martial and Amad Diallo have returned to training and should be fit to play, but they are unlikely to start.

Because of the three injury concerns, predicting the starting lineup will be difficult, but we believe Solskjaer will start Rashford and Fernandes if at all possible. Fred is arguably the most doubtful, and with Paul Pogba as a midfield option, the manager will be less willing to risk the Brazilian's fitness than the attackers.

As a result, it's possible that Pogba will replace Fred and play with Scott McTominay in deep midfield. Pogba is more often partnered with Matic in the twin pivot, but the manager appears to have more trust in McTominay in important games than the Serbian, therefore he will most likely start.

Mason Greenwood is expected to keep his spot on the right wing, with Jadon Sancho relegated to the bench. Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to lead the line once more, with Edinson Cavani ready to replace him if needed.

With Varane injured and Eric Bailly, Alex Telles, and Diogo Dalot appearing to be unfancied by the Norwegian tactician so the defense is likely to remain unchanged from the one that has conceded six goals in the last two games.
