European Countries With The Least Number Of Nigerian Footballers

Nigerians play in almost all the leagues In Europe so it is not rare to see more than one playing in some strange local European league. However, there are countries who have just one Nigerian playing in the entire country. These are the four countries that have such little representation.

1. Wales.

Welsh clubs mostly join with the English clubs and play in the English leagues. However, these clubs are based in Wales and in these kind of clubs, there is only one Nigerian playing professionally in the entire country.

The name of that Nigerian player is, Adrian Akande a left winger who plays for Swansea's under 18.

2. Luxembourg.

Luxembourg on its own is a notoriously small country, so there is no surprise knowing that just one Nigerian plays there. If anything, it is just amazing. This player is Oluwatobiloba Alagbe a 21 year old who plays for Jeunesse a club that participates in the BGL Ligue.

3. North Macedonia.

The North Macedonian league is one of the smallest in Europe but even at that, a Nigerian plays in the league, even though he's the only one. That player is Sunday Adetunji, the 23 year old center forward for FC Shkupi.

4. Northern Ireland.

Lastly, Northern Ireland is the last country with just one Nigerian footballer in the entire country. 21 year old Lumi Kanwei who plays for Crusaders FC is that player.
