Emmanuel Egbo Becomes The First African To Win A European League Title As A Coach

Emmanuel Ndubuisi Egbo, a former NITEL FC player in Nigeria has become the first African and Nigerian coach to win a European League title. Emmanuel Egbo is the head coach of Albania topflight league side, FK Tirana.

The club Tirana had just won the Albania's league title with 69 points; seven points ahead of Kukesi FC who are on 62 points with two games left to play for the 2019/20 League season.

The fans of Tirana are all in celebration moods with this latest achievement of their darling club which they have been waiting for, since the past 11 years.

FK Tirana by winning the Albania's top league title have also qualified to play in the European Champions League next season.

A Ugandan from the capital, Kampala with a verified twitter handle "Usher Komugisha" took to Twitter to celebrate Emmanuel Egbo's fit as she wrote "Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Emmanuel Ndubuisi Egbo led FK Tirana to the Albanian's topflight league title yesterday"..... "He is the first Black and African coach to qualify a team to a European Champions League. About time black coaches get more opportunities"...She concluded.

Coach Egbo was seen in an Instagram video posted by Naija_footballers dancing and celebrating with his Albanian wife.

Emmanuel Egbo was part of the Super Eagles team of 2000 and 2002 cup of Nations as a goalie.

In the next season's champions League, he will be by the side line as a coach as his club FK Tirana participates in the world's greatest club football event.
