Chelsea may have finally identified the player to take over their right wing spot after the departure of the Brazilian Willian last summer. Quite a number of players have been tested in the position this season and they include the likes of Callum Hudson Odoi, Kai Havert, etc. However, judging from Saturday's FA Cup semi final against Man City at Wembley, the tale is about to turn.
Summer signing Hakim Ziyech is the perfect man to replace the former Chelsea wing wizard and according to recent formation picks, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has come to that realisation, which is why the former Ajax winger is prospering on the right wing for Chelsea recently. The Morocco international was the star of the show on Saturday as he scored what turned out to be the winning goal against Man City.
Just like Willian is very fast with the ball at his feet and has the ability to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Since signing for the blues in the summer, he has made 30 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea this season scoring five goals and contributing a further four assists.
