Fans of Barcelona and Leonel Messi have taken to Instagram to show their sympathy for the Argentine who will not return to the club as a player ahead of the new campaign.
Barcelona on Thursday evening released a statement that suggests that they have both reached a mutual agreement to let him go, due to what they labeled "financial and structural obstacles" which will prevent him from signing a new contract with the Spanish Laliga giant.

Recall that Leonel Messi and Barcelona had earlier reached an agreement where he will sign a new contract with the Spanish, after the expiration of the contract with the team last June which declared him as a free agent.
