Super Eagles star shines for his English club in their 2-1 League victory

Super Eagles of Nigeria assistance captain William Troost Ekong was outstanding for Xisco led Watford football club of England on Friday night, as he guided them to a 2-1 home victory over Wayne Rooney's Derby County at Vicarage Road Stadium in the week 31st of the English Championship.

The visitors scored their only goal of the game via an own goal in the 77th minutes, as the first half ended 2-1.

William Troost Ekong was outstanding for the home team for the whole duration, and he made a lot of clearances to deny the visitors an equalizer.

The victory over Wayne Rooney led Derby County has now taken Xisco's Watford to the 3rd spot in the English Championship table with 57th points from 31 matches played.
