Chelsea won Brentford in today's Premier League fixture they went above Manchester City and Liverpool to retain their place at the top of the league table. Here are the four players responsible for Chelsea's victory against Brentford today.
1. Ben Chilwell: Ben Chilwell gave Chelsea the lead in the first half of the after Brentford failed to clear the ball far from the danger area. It was Ben Chilwell's third goal in his last three matches for club and country. Since overtaking Marcos Alonso as Chelsea's left wing back, Ben Chilwell has been one of their most productive players. He played well both on the defensive and attacking side of the game, his form came the right time for Thomas Tuchel side.
2. N'golo Kante: N'golo Kante had an impressive performance against Brentford in today's match, he made it difficult for Brentford attackers to get beyond Chelsea's midfield. On his return from quarantine, N'golo Kante had an display against Brentford. He played the defensive and offensive part of the game, he created few chances but his teammates failed to make any good use of those chances created.
3. Ruben Loftus-Cheek: Another midfield masterclass from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, the Englishman formed a fantastic duo with N'golo Kante in today's match. He dominated the midfield for Chelsea today just like he did in their last three games. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has gotten his place in Chelsea's squad once again. After an impressive pre season, he impressed Thomas Tuchel after he came on as a substitute in the match against Aston Villa.
4. Malang Sarr: On his Premier League debut, Malang Sarr had an excellent display. He made it difficult for Brentford attackers to get beyond Chelsea's defense from the left hand side. The Frenchman had the chance of making his debut today owing to Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger's absence. It would be a memorable debut for the Frenchman as he kept a clean sheet.
