LIV VS ARS: Ghanaians May Not Be Happy With Partey, As He Recovers In Time To Face Liverpool

The English Premier League resumes this weekend as the 2021/2022 league season enters week 12.

The big match of the week will be when North London side Arsenal travel to Merseyside to face Liverpool in an English Premier League classic, which will see the two sides, just one position apart in the league table, fight for three points.

Arsenal have received a boost in personnel before the encounter with Liverpool, as Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has recovered in time to feature in the game. His return to match fitness from a groin injury was made known to the public as the official Arsenal website confirmed that all their senior male players were fit for the Liverpool match except Sead Kolasinac, who suffered an ankle injury and Granit Xhaka with a knee injury, but the return of Partey to match fitness to face Liverpool may not please Ghanaian fans.

The Ghanaian national team had two tough World Cup qualifier matches against Ethiopia and South Africa for a place in the playoffs, but Partey, who is one of their best players, sat out the game injured, but will now return to face Liverpool during the weekend. Had the Ghanaian national team not qualified, the fans and people of Ghana may have questioned his absence from the national team and how he recovered in time to face Liverpool, though most of them may not be happy with him even though they won and qualified.

What are your thoughts? Don't you think that Partey's recovery on time to face Liverpool may be suspicious amongst Ghanaian fans? Make your opinions heard in the comments section below.
