Chelsea football club of England number 1 goalkeeper Edouard Mendy was exceptional again for Senegal national team on Tuesday afternoon, as he made a couple of saves in their 3-1 convincing victory over Namibia national team in the FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The former Stade de Rennes football club shot stopper started in his team's goalpost following his outstanding performance in their 4-1 victory over the same opponent few days ago, and he was able to guide them to their four consecutive victories in the qualifiers.

The UEFA goalkeeper of the year winner has been in superb form for both club and country for the past few months, and his excellent performance has made him to be named among the top best goalkeepers in the world.

The 30-man nominees for 2021 FIFA Ballon D'or was released last weekend, and five Chelsea football club of England stars were shortlisted, and the players are Jorginho Frello, N'golo Kante, Cesar Azpilicueta, Mason Mount and Romelu Lukaku, but the football lovers and some players like Kalidou Koulibaly were not happy because Mendy was not listed among the nominees, despite the fact that he achieved a lot with Chelsea football club this year.

Mendy was able to win the UEFA Champions League title, UEFA Super Cup, he kept 9 clean sheets in 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League (the most by any goalkeeper, and he was able to win UEFA goalkeeper of the season.

Edouard Mendy is still not bothered despite the fact that he was overlooked for the Ballon D'or award, as he continues doing pretty well for his national team in the FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The Chelsea star has been at goal post for his team in all their qualifiers, and he was able to help them to secure the maximum 12 points from 4 matches played.

Senegal national team defeated Togo 2-0 in their first game, they also won 3-1 away against Congo, and they defeated Namibia national team 4-1 on Saturday, before defeating the same opponent 3-1 away from home on Tuesday afternoon.

A hat-trick from Famara Diedhiou were enough to give Senegal national team a convincing victory, despite the fact that Peter Shalulile netted a goal for the host.

Edouard Mendy was impressive for Senegal throughout the entire duration of the game, and he will be looking forward to continuing his impressive performance for Chelsea football club when they play Brentford FC this weekend.
