Super Eagles star shines for his Spanish club-side in their 1-1 draw to move to the top of table

Super Eagles star Sadiq Umar was outstanding for Almeria football club on Saturday night, as he helped them to play a 1-1 draw against Las Palmas FC in the week 9 of Spanish Laliga SmartBank League.

The former AS Roma football club of Italy star retained his spot in the home team's first eleven, following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous matches, and he was able to impress again.

Sadiq Umar started in the home team's attack alongside Belgium star Largie Ramazani and the duo were exceptional in the game.

Spain star Francisco Portillo opened scoring for the home team in the 32nd minutes through a fine teamwork from Nigerian Sadiq Umar and Ramazani to end the first half 1-0.

The away team equalized through Jonathan Viera in the 90th minutes after receiving an assist from Raul Navas to end the match 1-1.

Sadiq Umar was impressive for the home team in the game, and he was able to play a crucial role in his team's only goal of the game.
