The red devils will be going against Chelsea in the FA cup semi final on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Wembley Stadium in London.

This is the fourth time this two English teams will be locking horns across all competitions This is the fourth time this two English teams will be locking horns across all competitions.

For the first time this season, Chelsea travelled to Old Trafford and were sent packing with a scoreline of 4-0. Rather tragic. Are the blues started brightly when premier league rookie Tammy Abraham hitting the post in the opening 10 minutes of the encounter. The match proved the perfect debut for Daniel James who scored his first goal after coming in as a substitute.

Months after, they met again in London, for the Carabao cup round, as Rashford netted a brace, one goal easy from a penalty and a freekick. Michy "Batman" Batshuayi scored the equaliser. It is safe to note that both teams lined weak teams up for the encounter.

The red devils perfected a season double on the blues for the first time in the premier league era as they eased past the blues for the third time in a VAR controversial game where Maguire should have been sent off for a groin challenge against Batman before he finally scored the second goal. With two goals from Zouma and Giroud ruled out by VAR.

Sunday's FA cup semi final is a chance for Lampard to save face against a lacklustre performance against Manchester United all season long.

Over the past few games, with Manchester United, being in the form of their lives, dropping just one point since the season's restart and Chelsea on the other hand struggling with it's defence. It'll be best to play the players to their strength using a 3-4-3 formation.

Kepa/ Caballero; Zouma, Rudiger, Azplicueta; Alonso, Jorginho, Kovacic, James; Pulisic, Giroud, Willian.

Thus allows the defence to be able to deal with the insurging pace of the red devil's frontline as Alonso and Azplicueta drag back to form a 5-2-3.

However, as this rather new formation can be 'problematic' for the blues. James can go into the midfield as seen in Wigan Athletic while on loan last season and this season during the 4-0 of Everton. The new formation becoming 4-3-3.

The 3-4-3 formation plays the boys to their strength most especially Marcos Alonso who has had issues at the left back position. But this formation allows the gaffer to play him to his position. And at the worst, we move to penalties or play on counters with devastating speeds of Pulisic and Willian. Especially willian has he'll be against Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who's in the lineup due to injuries of Brandon Williams' and Luke Shaw.

All the best for Chelsea in this encounter.
