As expected, the English Premier League match day 27 over the weekend did not fail to deliver some thrilling and exciting football to the millions of fans worldwide.
Liverpool kicked off the match day with a shocking loss to Bournemouth one week after their historic 7-0 win over Manchester United. Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham got all three points in the 4:00 fixtures before Manchester City fought hard for a narrow win away to Crystal Palace in the final match on Saturday.
The excitement continued on Sunday as Arsenal delivered an incredible performance against their local rivals while Manchester United could not find a way past bottom of the table Southampton.
Top 4 chasing Newcastle ended the match day with a rare win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, earning all 3 points for the first time in two months.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
Setting up in a 3-4-3 formation, these for me were the best performers from this weekend. Chelsea players dominate the team closely followed by their city rivals and table toppers Arsenal.
Seven players from both clubs while there is just one place each for players from Bournemouth, Tottenham, Manchester City and Southampton.
Ben Chilwell (Chelsea)
Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea)
Martin Odegaard (Arsenal)
Rodri (Man City)
Mateo Kovacic (Chelsea)
Landro Trossard (Arsenal)
Harry Kane (Tottenham)
Kai Havertz (Chelsea)
