Thibaut Courtois got humiliated by Christian Pulisic during Chelsea's first leg with Real Madrid. Pulisic dribbled him and scored the first goal although the Belgian goalkeeper made a couple of saves in the game.
Ahead of the second leg, Thibaut Courtois said-"The 2nd leg is going to be like a final. Their aggressiveness and intensity, which has been greater than ours, has hurt us".
The second leg will be played at Stamford bridge and that looks like a very good advantage to the blues who will look forward to not conceeding any goal. Timo Werner really failed the blues, he missed a couple of chances which could have kept Chelsea ahead of the game.
Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard were Chelsea's former players while Mateo Kovacic got sold from Real Madrid. Sources have it that many Real Madrid players will return from injury before the 2nd leg. These includes players like Sergio Ramos, Valverde and Lucas Vasquez.
The blues will hopefully play with Mateo kovacic and he will make a good addition to the team.
Kroos, Modric and Casemiro were not more of threat yesterday, Mount,Jorginho and Kante totally dominated the midfield. The 2nd leg will truly be like a final because both Coaches will like to show more tactics during the play.
Tuchel's 3-4-2-1 was unbreakable yesterday but who knows what is on Zidane's mind.
