Man United played out a frustrating 1-1 draw against Everton before the International break and will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league when they face Leicester City on Saturday. However, that game could prove to be too difficult for Man United to get a result. In this article, I will be discussing on reasons Leicester could beat Man United.
1. Injuries to two (2) Man United Center backs
Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane will not be able to take part in the game against Leicester on Saturday. The former picked up a calf injury in a league game against Aston Villa while the latter picked up a groin injury during his International duty for France against Spain in the Nations league final. The players are two of Man United's first choice players in the defense. This could mean that Lindelof and Bailly could feature on Saturday in place of Maguire and Varane. Lindelof and Bailly have too many flaws and Leicester could exploit Man United's weaknesses in that area.
2. Man United will be away from home.
Man United are currently on the premier league's longest away unbeaten run. However, Man United's worst performance this season have been away from home. They rode their luck against Southampton, Wolves and West ham. Leicester is a more superior team compared to the aforementioned teams. Man United haven't been at their best this season so an away game to Leicester could prove to be too difficult. They'll be fortunate if they get a draw.
