Xavi and his men struggled to obtain all three points against Valencia at the weekend despite being a man down in the early stages of the second half. The Catalan giants will now switch their attention to the next game in the Spanish League where they will be at loggerheads with Athletic Club on Sunday.
One player that has been linked with a return to Barcelona is Lionel Messi.
According to a recent report coming from Diario AS, Barcelona, and Lionel Messi are in discussions over a potential move to Camp Nou in June.
The report has it that Laporta and his camp are keen on bringing the 35-year-old back to Catalonia, as part of Xavi’s plans to further reinforce his attacking unit.
Lionel Messi has made 27 appearances for PSG in all competitions this season scoring 17 goals and contributing 12 assists in the process. It remains to be seen if these reports are true
