Manchester United has spent a lot of money in the summer window to bolster their team.
While supporters may be happy with the acquisition of attacking talents like as Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo, it's important to remember that such moves have a direct impact on the team's other players.
Anthony Martial is one player who will almost certainly depart the Old Trafford club sooner rather than later. After a terrible season last season, the French attacker was already struggling for playing time in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, and these latest signings are likely to be the last nail in the coffin of his Man Utd career.
While Martial may be disappointed to leave Manchester, a move to another Premier League team appears to be a possibility. And Arsenal might be the ideal new club for the French striker to relaunch his career.
He's the ideal Lacazette stand-in.
One of the reasons Martial would fit in so well at Arsenal is that he is exactly what they need right now.
While Mikel Arteta may not acknowledge it openly just yet, it appears like the club is committed to lose Alexandre Lacazette when his contract expires at the end of the season, which means they'll need a new No.9.
Part of the reason Martial has struggled at Old Trafford is that he is frequently pushed out wide, despite the fact that he is unquestionably a classic striker who loves to play centrally and explode into the box.
There's no doubt that the Frenchman would have to prove himself to Arsenal supporters, but he might find the ideal platform to show the Premier League exactly how brilliant he can be at the London club.
He's an Arsenal supporter.
Another intriguing part of Martial being linked with a transfer to Arsenal is that he is already a well versed supporter of the club.
When he initially joined Man United, he uncomfortably revealed that as a youngster, he was a great fan of Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka and so spent a lot of time watching the London club.
