Manchester United team news and expected line-up
Manchester United will host Newcastle United this weekend. Manchester United are just returning from an emphatic away win in their Uefa Europa league round of 16 first leg where they beat Real Sociedad 4-0.
They will also be looking forward to closing the 10 point gap between them and leaders Manchester City.
Cavani and Van de beek didn't travel with the team to Italy for the Europa league match. Both may start from the bench if available for the match. Paul pogba is still out of action and will not play this weekend. Eric Bailly will be looking for a start after an impressive display against Real Sociedad. Phil Jones is still getting back to shape from his long term injury.
Elsewhere, there are also doubts for Martial and Mctominay. The former was a substitute against Real Sociedad while the latter was withdrawn around 60 minutes. But both may still be fit for a place in the starting eleven.
David de Gea and Luke Shaw are expected back in the starting line-up on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola will be boosted by the return of Kevin De Bruyne who has been out of action for a long time. Also the player of the moment Ilkay Gundogan was forced off against Tottenham, but he is expected to be fit for the match. Also Sergio Aguero may find a place on the bench.
John Stones who sat out of their last match against Everton is expected to be in the line up alongside Zinchenko. Reheem Sterling is expected to start as a false striker in the match.
