Arsenal football club has been hit with the sad news of a positive Covid-19 test result this afternoon.
It came as a very sad news to all arsenal fans who are fans of Matteo Guendouzi.
From a statement released by Hertha Berlin this afternoon, it stated that the France under 21 captain had contacted the virus while on international duty with France.
The positive test results came after the midfielder returned from a two games outing with the France u21 team.
Guendouzi captained the side to a 5-0 victory over Liechtenstein last week Thursday and also a 1-0 victory over Slovakia on Monday.
He returned to Hertha Berlin on Tuesday and was tested positive of the virus that same day, the team medical team ran another test von him on Wednesday and the result came out as the previous one.
Therefore, he will now have to self isolate himself for 10days as in line with the covid-19 protocols in Germany. The flu will prevent Guendouzi from making his first debut for Hertha Berlin against Stuttgart in the German top flights on Saturday
