Nigeria-born striker wins "Man of the Match" award in Man United's 2-1 comeback win against Villarreal

Nigeria-born and Dutch professional footballer, Arnaut Danjuma was impressive yesterday for Villarreal in their second Group F game of the UEFA champions league against Manchester United at the Old Trafford.

The prolific forward was outstanding in the whole duration of the game but his efforts were not enough to save his side from the disappointing narrow defeat, as they lost with two goals to one scoreline at full time.

Arnaut Danjuma started the game upfront alongside Yeremi Pino and Paco Alcacer and they were all able to impress with the latter netting the only goal for the visitor with an assist from the former AFC Bournemouth star.

The first half of the game was such a balanced one as there was nothing to separate the two sides going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.

The tempo of the game got tensed up in second half as the visitor opened the scoring sheet in the 53rd minute after Paco Alcacer was set up by Arnaut Danjuma to make it one nil before Alex Telles made it 1-1 for the host in the 60th minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo in the late minute to the end of the game got a winner for the Red Devils in the 95th minute to seal the whole three points of the game for his side, as it ended two goals to one at full time.

After the game, Arnaut Danjuma was awarded with the Man of the Match prize after his impressive displays in the show of the night as he was at top notch with his physical, tactical and technical skills.

Arnaut Danjuma with the well deserved award will now be hoping to keep helping the team in their next fixture, so as to get back to winning ways and as such keep their pursuit going in the competition.
