The January transfer window is gradually coming closer and closer as teams are already making preparations to bring in the players that will help them strengthen their squad for the remainder of the season. Chelsea were very successful in their dealings in the last summer transfer window as they tried as much as possible to sign new players. This January transfer window provides another opportunity for Chelsea to strengthen their squad further.
According to recent reports, the blues are currently considering their options of bringing in their former star player, Eden Hazard. The Belgium international left Chelsea for Real Madrid in order to move to the next level of his career. However, things did not turn out well for him as his career was damaged by incessant injuries.
However, Chelsea are now keeping tabs and Marina might be considering bringing back their former talisman. Hazard's return will no doubt bolster Tuchel's attacking as his combination with Romelu Lukaku will be a very lethal one. Both players combine brilliantly in their national team and if Tuchel lines them up well, it might help them retain their European dominance.
The truth of the matter is that Hazard's return this January might affect some players in chelsea. When Chelsea sold Tammy Abraham, they added a buy-back clause on his deal incase the striker's performance improves. Tammy Abraham has the potential to eventually become a world-class player and he is gradually proving his doubters wrong with his improved goal scoring record in the Serie A. If Chelsea eventually signs Hazard, it might be very difficult for them to sign Tammy Abraham back from Roma if the transfer window opens.
Chelsea will continue their title race with a very important fixture against Brentford this weekend and a victory against this team that have not failed to create a very good impression in the Premier league will be needed.
