Lorenzo Insigne and other members of the Italian team at the 2020 Euros, pay tribute to injured Italian full back, Leonardo Spinnazola.

The Italian National Football team on Tuesday, the 6th of July defeated the Spanish football National team by 4-2 on penalties after both sides had earlier played out a 1-1 draw during regulation and extra time of one out of the two semifinal matches of the 2020 European Championship. 

The victory by the Azurri's of Italy over their counterparts from Spain ensured that the Italian side secured a place in the finals of the 2020 European Championship.

The players and the coaching staff of the Italian National team also used the opportunity to pay tribute to injured Italian full back, Leonardo Spinnazola, who snapped his achilles tendon during Italy's quarter final match against Belgium.

Italian International forward, Lorenzo Insigne, was spotted with a jersey of the injured Italian full back, Leonardo Spinnazola, immediately after the referee signalled the end of Tuesday's game, as other members of the Italian team also gathered around him to pay tribute to the injured Italian full back.
