Chelsea played a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid last Tuesday in the first leg of their champions league semi final game at the Stefano stadium in Spain. The second is scheduled to be played at Stamford bridge next Wednesday as both teams will be looking for a possible win in order to qualify for the final.
It is advantage Chelsea who already have an away goal heading into the second leg next Wednesday, that means if they(Chelsea) keep a clean sheet next Wednesday there are through to the finals.
The only reason why I feel Chelsea will qualify for the final ahead of the Los Blancos is because of their squad depth. Chelsea have almost all their players available for the first leg in Spain except for Kovacic, but the Croatian is expected to return for the second leg next week at Stamford bridge.
If Kovacic returns, that means Chelsea will have a complete squad going into the game and that will seem like an advantage for them over Real Madrid who will be without some key players.
I think Chelsea will qualify for the final over Real Madrid next Wednesday and I see the blues lifting the trophy as well.
It's just my opinion though, you can freely drop yours in the comment section below.
