Super Eagles of Nigeria Striker Victor Osimhen was on action for Gennaro Gattuso's Napoli football club of Italy on Thursday night, as they defeated League giants Lazio FC 5-2 at Diego Armando Maradona stadium, to move to the 5th spot on the league table.
The former LOSC Lille football club of France star was dropped to the bench for Dries Mertens by coach Gennaro Gattuso, but he was introduced in the second half, and he was able to impress after coming in.
Napoli Football club have been outstanding in recent weeks, and their excellent performance continues as they won convincingly.
Lorenzo Insigne scored another goal in the 53rd minutes to make it 3-0, and Dries Mertens made it 4-0 in the 65th minutes, before the visitors scored two goals through Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the 71 and 74th minutes, while substitute Victor Osimhen scored the last goal of the game in the 80th minutes, to end the match 5-2.
Victor Osimhen was impressive after coming in to replace Dries Mertens in the second half, and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a fine goal.
The victory over Lazio FC has now taken Gennaro Gattuso's Napoli football club to the 5th spot in the Italian serie A table with 63 points from 32 matches played.
