It was a nervy second-leg for Arsenal as they played Benfica at the Emirates. Lost of focus nearly cost Arsenal qualification into the next stage of the competition but as GOD will have it, a four minute impact from Willian borges sparks the gunners to victory.
Arsenal took the lead through Aubameyang in the first half but it was cancelled out after a fantastic free kick from Benfica to level the game. Benfica got ahead after an error from Dani ceballos in the second half.
Mikel Arteta took out Smith Rowe, Ceballos and Bellerin and replace them with Willian, Thomas partey and Lacazette. Willian had am instant impact as he assisted Tierney for the equaliser four minutes into the game.
It was all shaky for Mikel Arteta as fans could8wait to lash him with criticism but Bukayo saka worked his magic to provide an assist for Aubameyang to finish in the 87th minutes. Benfica gave arsenal a scare afterwards after they hit the goal post.
