MUFC vs EVE: Match Prediction, Team News & Kickoff Time

Manchester United defeated Villarreal in a Champions League match on Wednesday thanks to a last-gasp goal. United are fourth in the Premier League, one goal ahead of fifth-placed Everton. United will go to the top of the Premier League if they draw this game. However, if Everton win this match, they will be the ones going into first place.

Manchester United's perfect Premier League record was shattered when they were defeated by Aston Villa. They netted nine goals in their first two Premier League matches, and this is the first of four major home league matches for them this season. Following this, they will play Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal. They have a solid record against Everton at Old Trafford, going undefeated in seven league meetings, but the previous two have been drawn.

Everton are in fifth place in the table, with four wins, a draw, and a loss, just like their opponents. Their only setback in the Premier League came at the hands of Aston Villa, which they lost 3-0 on the road. They have won those four league games, although it was against the likes of Southampton, Brighton, Burnley, and Norwich. Apart from Brighton, the other three victories were against three of the bottom five teams in the league. Only one of their last five league games has been played away from home.

For a few hours, either team will be at the top of the Premier League if they win. When United fell behind to Villarreal 1-0 on Wednesday, things seemed bleak for the Red Devils. They came back to win, and it must have given them a huge boost. They face Everton, who may be in a higher league place than they should be. The majority of their victories have come against weaker opponents, and they were defeated 3-0 by Aston Villa. Manchester United will win this match, in my opinion.

Kickoff Time: The match will go down tomorrow at 12:30 PM UK and Nigerian time.
