Despite a star studded squad, Manchester United have still not been at their very best this season as recent performance has shown that there's still plenty of work to be done. With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba, one can hardly say the Red Devils haven't been at full strength, but yet the signs of struggles are still evident.
However, since the beginning of the season, the Red contingent of Manchester have had to make do without the services of a key player, one that could finally make his first appearance of the new campaign this month.
The Englishman has been nursing a shoulder Injury following his surgery which has kept him of action since July.
It was expected that Rashford's absent will not be really felt owing to the signing of Jadon Sancho, but considering how the former Borrusia Dortmund player has preformed so far and the out of form Anthony Martial, the fans cannot just wait for the return of Marcus. According to the manager, the Englishman has started training with the first team although he hasn't had contact on his operated shoulder yet. Solskjaer also confirmed that as soon as Rashford takes contact on his shoulder, he will be in contention to play after the International break this month.
This is welcome news for all of Manchester United's fans who have missed the youngster's pace and scintillating skills especially with the likes of Sancho and Martial being so underwhelming. It's very much likely Rashford could make his first appearance of the season when United travel to Leicester City on October 16th and his return will go a long way in Improving the team's attacking prowess.
