According to reports, Barcelona and Uruguayan defender, Ronald Araujo is close to making his long-awaited return to the the Barcelona team after he suffered an injury.

The reports have it that Ronald Araujo's recovery is going on a good pace although manager, Ronald Koeman will not rush him back and will not want to risk an Injury recurrence.

This is a good news for Barcelona fans as they could see the world-class defender in action for the club very soon in their upcoming matches as he is expected to be fully fit for the Catalan club is no distant time.

After the Uruguay international picked up an Injury in Barcelona's match against Real Betis Football Club, he has missed the last three matches played by the Spanish giants, but he is expected to be back in the squad next week according to 'Sports'.

However, he could reportedly be fit to make the squad that will play against Elche on Wednesday, or he could make it to the team that will face Sevilla Football Club.

The return of Ronald Araujo will be a big boost for Barcelona Football Club as coach Ronald Koeman will have enough options in the defense to choose for their upcoming matches.

Barcelona have failed to keep a clean sheet ever since they did so in the win against Elche almost a month ago, and there is no doubt that Ronald Araujo could help restore that when he finally regains full fitness.
