Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United player, has an opinion about his old club in this season's title competition that could be accurate.
Ferdinand predicted that this season will be difficult, and he stated that Manchester United will require just 85 points to win the Premier League, ahead of Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
And, given the current state of affairs, football commentators believe that a Premier League champion will not require 90 points. This is because the top clubs in the title battle have lost points, and there is no possibility of consistency this season.
Chelsea leads with 27 points from a possible 33, while Manchester City, widely seen as a title contender, has 23 points. Manchester United, on the other hand, is suffering and has only garnered 17 points, which is contrary to Ferdinand's expectations.
Manchester United supporters are eager to see if their club's performance will improve and they will achieve the results they need to finish at the top of the Premier League standings.
