Arsenal set to complete a deal for Manchester United transfer target

Manchester United have been rumoured with a move to secure the services of AZ Alkmaar playmaker last summer, before the deal to land the signature of the 22 years old fell through.

The Red Devils have once again shown interest to land the 22 years old signature, with the Red Devils manager who is known to be handing young talents the chance to impress, having built his team around young talents with the likes of Brandon Williams, Mason Greenwood and Scott Mctominay, already being a recognised part of the Red Devils squad.

However, Arsenal are now reportedly keen to secure the services of the 22 years old playmaker ahead of Manchester United, as they identified the playmaker as a potential transfer target, to solve their attacking mystery ahead of the next season.

The 22 years old has been directly involved in 18 goals and assist owing to his stunning performance at the Dutch League, founding the back of the net 16 times and providing 3 assists in 42 games, before the end of the Eredivise campaign.

The Gunners are however reportedly keen to secure the services of the Dutchman ahead of Manchester United, once the transfer window commenced, with the Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta interestingly keen to bolster his attack.

Teun Koopmeiners is valued in the region of €15m by the Dutch outfits, a fee which the Gunners can still manage to pay following the financial impact of coronavirus pandemics.
