Two records Ronaldo broke after scoring three goals against Luxembourg today.

Today in the World Qualifiers round, Portugal hosted Luxembourg, hoping to maintain their winning run after claiming all three points against Azerbaijan in their previous group match.

For today's game, Portugal opened the score sheet with Ronaldo scoring from the penalty spot at the 8th minutes. Five minutes later, Ronaldo extended the home team lead to two goals. At the 17th minutes, Fernandes scored the third goal for Portugal.

At the 69th minutes in the second half of the game, Palhinha scored a header to make it 4:0. And at the dime minutes of the game, Ronaldo scored his third goal of the game. The game ended 5:0, with Portugal claiming all three points.

Ronaldo's hat trick in the game made him the all time leader in men's international football hat tricks with 10. Cristiano Ronaldo also becomes the first player ever to score 114 International Goals in men's football.
