FUL 2-2 LIV: 3 Players That Impressed Klopp As Liverpool Drew Their First Game Of The Season

Liverpool has begun their Premier League season with a draw against Fulham in Craven Cottage this afternoon. However, here are the three Liverpool players that impressed Jurgen Klopp today:

1. Darwin Nunez

The Uruguayan came in as a substitute and turned the game around. Klopp will be proud of what he did today. His chemistry with Mohamed Salah will ultimately bring Liverpool success this season.

He scored Liverpool's first goal in 64 minutes to cancel Mitrovic's first-half goal and also gave the assist for Mohamed Salah's equalizer after Mitrovic had restored Fulham's lead through a penalty.

2. Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian was yet at his best today as he has always been all season. Although, he started today's game poorly but later came alive in the second half. He gave the assist for their first goal and scored the second from Nunez's assist as Liverpool settled for a draw today.

3. Jordan Henderson

The club's skipper was on top of his game today even though age is no longer on his side. He played the whole game and should have scored the winner at injury time when his strike hit the bar. Nevertheless, his presence brought calmness and clarity to the way Liverpool played today.

Liverpool came from behind twice to draw today's game and they will now shift their attention to their next game against Crystal Palace next week.
