Everton Women travelled to meet Brighton Women in their comfort zone for another 3 points hunt.
Brighton Women started well but majorly on defending. Everton Women's pressure on the host paid off in the 24th minute when Christiansen put Everton up with the opener. Just 2 minute later, Haylay Raso made it 0-2 to put the Visitors in the driving seat at halftime.
Raso returned with another Strike 3 minute into the 2nd half to shut Brighton's door of getting back into the game. Although Brighton attacked fine but to get it more worse, Simeon Magill Scored the 4th in the 64th minute as Everton cruised to victory. Due to some defensive blunders, Haylay scored Everton's 5th goal,her 3rd goal to give it a convincing win. It's another Hattrick for the Everton Striker.
Chelsea Women celebrated Guro Reiten after appearing for Chelsea the 50th time in her Blues Career. Having had vast experience in the League, Aston villa women match up to the challenge as they put Chelsea on their toes in the first 20 minutes.
Fran Kirby's cross gave Samantha Kerr another wonderful header to put Chelsea ahead with a goal in the 24th minute. The combination works between Kirby and Kerr was really a beauty to behold. The 2 player worked for eachother with understanding to put more pressure on Aston Villa. First half ended in Blues favour.
Aston Villa shown some sparkes in the start of the 2nd 45 minúte but Sam Kerr and teammates went on rampage once again as Kerr Scored the 2nd goal in the 57th minute to double Chelsea's lead.
For another wonderful day, Chelsea duo of Kirby and Kerr convincing performance sealed another 3 points for the blue.
Chelsea returned back to the top of the table after the win to extend their lead by 2 points above Man City, who are on 45 points. Man United Maintained their 3 points superior over Arsenal in the 3rd spot.
