Opinion: Why Manchester United Should Not Complete The Signing Of Jodan Sancho

Manchester United is in the transfer window to further strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the board have made it known that signing a winger is their priority this summer.

In a move to sign a winger, Manchester United has identified Borussia Dortmund playmaker Jodan Sancho as the man for the job.

Bringing the playmaker to the theatre of dream sounds good, but could have a very huge side effect on the development of Mason Greenwood who will drop to the bench immediately Sancho arrives.

Former Manchester United player Andy Cole once warned the club they must be careful not to block the development and progress of Mason Greenwood if they do sign Sancho.

Mason Greenwood scored 17 goals last season and also 12 goals this season in all competitions.

Manchester United, however, continues to be linked with a move for Sancho, whose arrival could limit the playing time of Greenwood next season.
