La Liga has been tagged "disgrace" by Manuel Pellegrini for being too slow and claims the body must do more to refrain the time-wasting and diving in the league.
On Friday, the Real Betis boss saw his side held to a 1-1 draw by Cadiz in their league clash.
The tactician was saddened his team could not get the winner against a defensive Cadiz and feels the Laliga is being held back by teams that interrupt the flow of games.
In his press conference, he told reporters that they have to make an effort between players, coaches and referees so that the championship will not be in this shame because they were told in the referees' meeting that Laliga is the slowest league in Europe.
He said that fans want to watch a show, and we're not giving it to them. The most time-wasting, the most dives, it's a disgrace.
There is a show that we have to take care of. People pay a ticket to watch it, he concluded.
So far in Laliga, Pellegrini's men have two points from as many appearances.
But a huge test awaits his side next week as they host Real Madrid at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
The Verdiblancos have a great record against the capital club, though, with two wins and one draw in their last six meetings.
