Despite Chelsea having a good time under current coach,Thomas Tuchel, one can not stop to imagine what it would have been like if former boss, Frank Lampard has had a brilliant squad rotation as Thomas Tuchel is having now. Before the sack of Frank Lampard, Chelsea sat 9th on the premier league and seems to be heading down the lane if not for the "timely intervention of Thomas Tuchel."
Under Frank Lampard, the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Christensen, Emerson, Marcos Alonso and even Chelsea's captain, Ceaser Azpillicueta sat in limbo, not knowing what the future hold. Most especially, For Antonio Rudiger, it seemed an end of road for him at Chelsea under frank with several clubs waiting on his final decision.
Personally, Where Lampard got it wrong was his little or no rotation of the team leaving so many players frustrated and unhappy in the dressing room.
Under Thomas Tuchel, we see a rotation of team selection which has brought a sense of belonging to everybody in the dressing room, we see a resurgent Antonio Rudiger and a master class displays from Christensen and the ever committed display from the skipper, Ceaser Azpillicueta.
Personally, i feel Chelsea would have been a team contending for the premier league this season if Frank has done the needful.
