2 Reasons Why The Referee Shouldn't Have Given Felipe A Straight Red Card Despite His Actions

Simone Inzaghi and his men traveled to Lazio last night, but the game ended in a 3-1 defeat. Something happened between Joaquin Correa and Luiz Felipe after the final whistle, the Lazio defender jumped on Joaquin Correa after the game and he was shown a straight red card, I will be showing you the reasons why the referee shouldn't have given him a straight red card.

1. Luiz Felipe And Joaquin Correa Are Friends And Former Teammate

Luiz Felipe and Joaquin Correa are teammate who played together last season, but the Brazilian defender decided to jump on Correa after the 3-1 victory, both players are good friends, but Joaquin Correa somehow took it personal after the defeat, the Argentine forward might be trying to show his love for the club and to avoid talks from the Inter Milan fans. When Luiz Felipe jumped on him, he reacted angrily and the referee spotted what happened, but he shouldn't have given him the red card.

2. The Game Has Already Ended And The Players Are Walking Into The Dressing Room

This is the second time I'm watching a game that, the referee took action after the final whistle, you could see that in the premier league game between Manchester United and Brighton when the referee awarded a penalty, despite that the game has ended, the referee who officiated the game last night, should have given him a yellow card because I don't think that, Luiz Felipe took it personal. It was just a joke in my own opinion.

To show that he was just joking, he couldn't control his tears after he was shown a straight red card.
