Mikel Arteta's Arsenal team have climbed into the ninth position after a comfortable 3-1 victory against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on Friday. Goals from Partey, Aubameyang, and Smith Rowe were enough to take the three points.

Arsenal were one of the biggest clubs in the last summer transfer window and the London club added new players to reinforce the team in all departments.

According to reports, Arsenal are considering a swap transfer deal for Gareth Bale with Alexandre Lacazette in exchange. Gareth Bale and Alexandre Lacazette are in the last year of their contracts with Real Madrid and Arsenal, respectively.

Below is a list of three reasons why Arsenal should consider swapping Alexandre Lacazette. For Gareth Bale.

- No transfer fee

Alexandre Lacazette's contract with Arsenal runs out in the summer, the same as Gareth Bale's with Real Madrid.

The transfer deal will be a swap deal, and there will not be a need for a transfer fee. Arsenal could get Gareth Bale without spending a dime in the next transfer window.

- Talent

Gareth Bale is a very versatile player and he can play in multiple positions. He can cover for other players in case of injury and provide depth in some positions.

Gareth Bale is a natural right winger, but he can be adapted to play as a striker and at the other side of the wings as well.

- Young players

Youngsters who can play at the number nine position, such as Gabriel Martinelli and Balogun, will be able to get more playing time with Alexandre Lacazette out of the team and, subsequently, improve and develop into top strikers.
