5 in-form players who merit Super Eagles call up during World Cup Qualifiers

We are discussing Nigeria's chances at the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

During these discussions points have been raised about who is going to get the goals, the best defensive partnership, which midfielders should start together centrally, and which strikers should lead the line.

We all know the likes of Maduka Okoye, Victor Osimhen and Wilfred Ndidi are almost certain to be picked..

Hit below to see five players who deserve Nigeria call-up!

Godfrey Bitok

Godfrey Bitok would add pace and power to Nigeria's backbone and many Jagiellonia Białystok fans believe he deserves the chance to shine at international level.

With Zaidu Sanusi likely to be the first choice left back for Nigeria, Bitok will have a fight on his hands to gain a Super Eagles place, but we feel he deserves a chance to show what he has to offer.

Ike Ugbo

The Chelsea loanee has learnt a reputation as an out an out striker not afraid to take anyone on.

He is capable of playing on either wing and could be a great option for Gernot Rohr.

Should he be selected for Nigeria would be a great addition as a substitute to bring on with 20 minutes or so remaining, as the Cercle Brugge man would cause a tiring defence problems.

Sadiq Umar

The striker must be feeling that he is never going to get the chance to represent his country, but one man who surely deserves a chance to show what he has to offer his country.

He has represented Nigeria at U23, but that one full cap has always eluded the popular Almeria forward.

Akinkunmi Amoo

The youngster plys his trade with Hammarby, a winger by position, the youngster could also fill in and do an able job in behind the main striker.

Amoo has finally broken into the Hammarby side this season, and has contributed a couple of goals. He now has the physical strength to cut it at the top level of the game.

Terem Moffi

21-year-old Moffi is definitely one for the future, his ruthlessness in front of goal has won him admirers from around the country after impressive loan spell at Lorient. He would be an asset to the Nigeria side during the Qualifiers.
