CAR 0-2 NIG: Three Things I Observed As Nigeria Gets Revenge Over Central African Republic.

The Super Eagles were looking to make a turnaround in the African World Cup Qualifiers today when they travelled to face Central African Republic at the Japoma Stadium in Cameroon. The Nigerian National Team redeemed themselves from their previous loss to Central African Republic as they defeated the Wild Beasts 2-0 at the end of the match.

Well, here are the three things I observed from today's African World Cup Qualifiers Fixture involving the Super Eagles Of Nigeria and the Wild Beasts Of Central African Republic.

1, Maduka Okoye And Ahmad Musa Returned To The Starting Lineup For The Super Eagles.

Maduka Okoye and Ahmad Musa didn't start for the Super Eagles of Nigeria when they lost 1-0 to Central African Republic some days ago. Both players finally returned to Nigeria's starting lineup today in their return leg fixture against the Wild Beasts of Central African Republic. Gernot Rohr used them in their respective positions as they both performed brilliantly.

2, Super Eagles Full Dominance In The First Half As They Led Comfortably At Half-Time.

The Super Eagles had a brilliant display in the first half of the match as they dominated Central African Republic who were pinned to their own half. The Nigerian National Team didn't make any mistakes this time around as they converted their chances brilliantly in the first half. Leon Balogun and Victor Osimhen scored in the 29th and 45th minute respectively to give Nigeria a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.

3, Maduka Okoye Keeps Clean Sheet As Nigeria Cruised Home With An important Win Over Central African Republic.

Super Eagles Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was brilliant in goal as he made a few saves in the match. The 20-year-old kept a clean sheet against Central African Republic as they were unable to get the ball past him in the match. Nigeria held on tight to their 2-0 advantage in the match which eventually became the final result as they secured all three points.
