The EPL Table After Yesterday's Matches As Chelsea Lose Top Four Spot

With the majority of teams having played on Saturday and Sunday, Matchday 31 in the Premier League is almost complete.

Man City's defeat, Liverpool's victory at Anfield, Chelsea's 4-1 victory, Man United's comeback win against Tottenham, West Ham's re-entry into the top four, and Arsenal's superb 3-0 victory last night were among the highlights.

The games began on Friday with Wolves vs. Fulham, followed by weekend games featuring Manchester City vs. Leeds, Liverpool vs. Aston Villa, Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace, and so on.

Manchester City suffered a shock defeat at the Etihad for the second time this season after a 10-man Leeds stole the game with a late winner. With that loss against Leeds, the favourites to lift the Premier League Cup this season extended their wait, dropping three points that Man United didn't fail to pick up later on Sunday.

Chelsea reclaimed their top four spot with a 4-1 win over Palace after being knocked out for several hours due to Liverpool's victory over Aston Villa, but a game between West Ham and Leicester City on Sunday would undo Thomas Tuchel's victory.

Leicester City were defeated by a strong West Ham United side led by Jesse Lingard, who was in fine form, and a stunning Michael Bowen goal. Man United was the next team to take advantage of these losses and put themselves out of reach of the other top four contenders, securing a second-place finish in the Premier League.

Man United got their sweet revenge on a Mourinho side that beat them 6-1 with ten men early in the season, with a 3-1 comeback win to move clear of Leicester and within striking distance of Manchester City.

Arsenal put on a good show against Sheffield United, who are in danger of relegation. The Gunners defeated the Blades 3-0 at Bramall Lane, putting them in the Premier League's top ten.

Following yesterday's matches, the EPL table shows Chelsea dropping out of the top four and Manchester United closing in on Manchester City.
