Super Eagles of Nigeria star Paul Ebere Onuachu continues his impressive goal scoring form for KRC Genk football club on Sunday afternoon, as he came from the bench to score the winning goal in his team's 2-1 comeback away League victory over St. Truiden FC in the week 7 of the Belgium Pro League.
The Nigerian international has been exceptional for the away team since the beginning of the 2021/2022 season, and he was able to extend his impressive run of form on Sunday, as he netted a classic goal to guide the team to another victory.
Onuachu was the hero for KRC Genk football club on Thursday night, as he netted an injury time goal to guide them to a remarkable 1-0 away victory over Rapid Vienna FC in the UEFA Europa League, and he was able to build on that outstanding performance again, as he scored another goal.
Coach John van den Brom dropped the Nigerian international to the bench for his compatriot Ike Ugbo in order to catch some rest, and he was able to impress after being introduced to the pitch.
Paul Onuachu was introduced to the pitch in the 61st minutes to replace Belgium star Luca Oyen, and he was able to guide the visitors to a deserved victory.
The host took the lead through Yuma Suzuki in the 45th minutes, and Ghanaian star Joseph Paintsil equalized for the away team in the 73rd minutes before substitute Nigerian international Paul Onuachu scored the winning goal in the 83rd minutes to guide his team to a remarkable 2-1 victory.
Paul Onuachu was exceptional for the away team after being introduced to the pitch and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a fine goal.
The goal against St. Truiden FC has now taken Paul Onuachu's total goals of the season to 6 in all competitions.
