UCL team of the week: Man united, Chelsea, PSG and Barca stars all feature

Gerrard Pique (Barcelona)

Gerard Pique was on hand to help his side secure their first Uefa champions league win of the season when they hosted Dynamo Kiev at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.

The Spanish defender snatched all three points for the Catalans with a well taken header in the first half of the game while he was also solid defensively as he played a pivotal role in his side's ability to earn all three points against their opponents.

Andreas Christensen was one of Chelsea's best players when they trashed Swedish side Malmo on Wednesday evening. The Danish defender opened the scoring with a well taken volley while he also helped his side to another keep yet another cleansheet in the UCL this season.

Lionel Messi continued his stellar goalscoring record for PSG in the Uefa champions league with another well taken brace in his side's 3-2 come back win over RB Leipzig.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester united)

Cristiano Ronaldo showed that he remains the king of the Uefa Champions league with a 5-star display in Manchester united's hard fought victory over Atlanta on Wednesday. The 36 year old Portuguese ran tirelessly all night while he also scored the all important winning goal for his side with a well taken header in the dying stages of the second half to earn Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men a Memorable 3-2 come-back win over their Italian opponents.
