English Premier League club Manchester United is one of the best clubs in England, as well as in Europe at large. The team currently has a nice squad which is filled with quality and talented players.
Although, the squad are yet to find their feet, but in no time they could blend and become unstoppable. However, they are currently, more than one replacement in a single position, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still keen on promoting academy players who could turn out to become the next Scot Mctominay, next Marcus Rashford, the next Dean Henderson, and the next Mason Greenwood from the academy.
Having known these, here are three Manchester United academy players who could be promoted next season.
1. Teden Mengi.
The 19-year-old academy prospect is an English player who made his first-team debut for Manchester United in the Europa League in August 2020. He also had a season-long loan spell in Derby County where he earned more experience. The center-back could be promoted permanently to United's first team next season.
2. Anthony Elanga.
Elanga is one of the best Manchester United academy graduates. He made his first-team debut in a pre-season match against Aston Villa ahead of the 2020/21 season. He also played in the 1-1 draw against Leicester City last season. He was also a used substitute in the Carabao Cup elimination.
3. Shola Shoretire.
Shola is a Nigerian-born British Manchester United forward. The player made his debut in the Europa League game against the Spanish side Granada. Because of his performances, Shola could be promoted permanently to Manchester United's first team.
