It is pretty obvious that the two best players are not having the best of these season in all competitions in Europe.
But Cristiano's Juventus slightly has an edge over Messi's Barcelona due to their sloppy defense and their lack of huge investment opportunities.
And also considering the fact that Barcelona played a team that his obviously much better than them in every department, while Juventus had a 46% chance of winning and a 28% chance to draw preceding their match against Fc porto...... The stat was expected to be in favour of the Juventus players. Unfortunately, their attack was out of ideas, while Barcelona's defense was sloppy against an energetic PSG side led by Kylian Mbappe.
The stat shows the impact that the two players had in their respective matches:
Christiano Ronaldo was barely able to get on the ball, he was ineffectual and invisible, played 1 shot on target, and had 5 touches in the box.
He was dispossessed 3 times during the match with only Alex sandro losing the ball more times, he was flagged offside twice and won no Aerial dwells. He recorded a 6.2 rating.
Lionel Messi created early chances in the match against PSG, and he got into the scoresheet as a result of his long raking pass which saw Frenkie De jong fouled and a penalty was giving.
He got a 7.4 rating, scored 1 goal, played 2 shot (1 on target), and had 3 touches in the box.
What do you think about their individual performances...?

02-20 20:56:55Messi can never be better than Ronaldo in thought and word and deed. Ronaldo has proved his skill in four different clubs with stellar and sterling performance. Messi is condned to one Club for decades. He should change club and come to EPL, where Ronaldo had performed and after 2 years he can also move to Seria A. and let's watch his performance with new team mates. Only when this is done can he be compared to the Master Ronaldo.
