Lionel Messi equals Cristiano Ronaldo's UEFA Champions League record after netting brace in PSG win

Argentina national team captain Lionel Andres Messi has equalled Cristiano Ronaldo's UEFA Champions League record, after netting a brace in Paris Saint Germain football club's 3-2 victory over German Bundesliga giants RassenballSport Leipzig football club on Tuesday night.

The former Barcelona football club of Spain star has been superb for his new club in the UEFA Champions League since making his debut for them, and he was able to score a brace to guide them to a remarkable home victory.

Lionel Messi was given a starting role by coach Mauricio Pochettino, after missing his team's last game, and he was able to impress in the match.
